I'm going to keep this post short and sweet.
If you have a Facebook business page, you can use the Facebook Cover Photo to showcase what's going on in your business and send traffic over to your website.
My purpose for having a Facebook Business Page is simply this - to encourage people to sign up for my video series and get on my mailing list.
Here's the ideal scenario: I interact with a lot of people in Facebook entrepreneur groups. If people have questions about Squarespace, I answer them if I can. Sometimes people are curious. Who is the person helping me out here? They click on my Facebook personal profile, see I have a business page, click on over to the business page and - if all goes well, they'll see my cover photo - Free Video Series! - and click the Sign Up button.
I don't mind if they don't bother liking my page. I'd rather they click over to my website and sign up.
That's the goal. Sign ups.
This is what my cover photo looks like right now.
In the video below, I show you how EASY it is to make a Facebook cover photo for your business page using the free online design software Canva. Once you've made a couple of Facebook cover photos, it takes no time at all.
If you're super organized, you can make 4 or 5 at once with different text to highlight what's going on in your business right now and down the road. You can upload these images at different times to your Facebook biz page. The ideal is that the cover photo (and you're lovely personality that shines through) will encourage your Facebook page fans and visitors to head on over to your website and take the action you'd like them to take.
Pretty please, with sugar on top.
